Lets talk Sugar Scrubs

Exfoliating your skin with our emulsified or whipped sugar scrub is a great way to treat your skin the right way.  Now let me explain the difference between the two different sugar scrubs.

Our Emulsified Sugar Scrub is not an oily mess created with only sugar and oils.  Our emulsified sugar scrubs are all made from scratch.  Emulsified sugar scrubs are a solid scrub, containing Avocado Oil, conditioning wax, beeswax, steric acid and of course REAL cane sugar.  How do these specific ingredients benefit your skin?

Avocado oil is high in Oleic acid and Vitamin E.

Conditioning wax assists in the texture and consistency of the scrub.  Not only is it good for your skin, it helps prevent that greasy film on the outer skin after applying.

Beeswax is an effective occlusive, which means that it can create a protective layer on the skin, sealing in moisture.

Steric acids main benefits are to soften and smooth the skin's surface while also helping to maintain the skin barrier.  It helps maintain moisture levels, promotes skin repair, calms skin inflammation and acts as a cleanser for the skin.

Real cane sugar....Sugar is a humectant, meaning it pulls water into your skin.  Sugar is a natural source of Glycolic acid.  Sugar breaks down layers of dead skin and smooths the skin's surface.

Now lets discussed our Whipped Sugar Scrub.  This one will be brief, so hang tight.

Whipped sugar scrub is simply comprised of our made from a combination of botanical butters such as Shea, Mango and coconut Oil , combined with real cane sugar. The result is a thick scrub that is incredible moisturizing.  Whipped sugar scrubs are a lighter exfoliation, which makes them perfect for those that tan or have sensitive skin.  Our whipped scrub lathers nicely and acts as a foaming soap, all while exfoliating the dead skin from your body.

Proper exfoliation of the skin removes the barrier of dead skin cells clogging the skin all while revealing the fresh new skin cells below.

We recommend using a sugar scrub 3 times a week to keep your skin glowing and healthy.

NOW, grab that scrub and use head to toe !!!

Much love,

Stephanie
